Our annual Honey Show took place on 9th November and was very well-attended. There was a real buzz in the Bowling Club as entries for the different categories flooded in with the edibles category being particularly well represented (excellent news for those of us, like me, who enjoy the samples from this table!). The mead entries seemed to be generating some interesting responses – I can only apologise to those who had to taste my entry! Of course the most popular category was the runny honey with plenty to choose from and to allow everyone to go home on a sugar high. After Tony and Felicity entered all the scoring the winners and runner-ups were announced and John did a grand job in presenting trophies and rosettes – winners are listed below. The raffle followed which was well supported. A big thank you to everyone involved in organising the Honey Show and to everyone who attended!
