Tony facilitated a Disease inspection on some parts of some hives so that club members could learn and practice one of their inspections that should be done twice a year.
Members were Kannan, Mark, Julia and Stewart. All got to inspect at least one frame in detail. Many larvae met theie end as they were withdrawn for inspection (and then popped into the smoker)
We found just one Sac brood, a row of damaged larvae (Lesser Wax Moth) and spotted a Varroa mite crawing about over an un-capped drone larvae. A good experince in two ways as nothing serious was spotted.
