On Sunday, we saw a smaller turnout than usual, but the team on hand really pulled together and got the job done. Inspections went smoothly across the hives, with everyone chipping in to ensure everything was checked thoroughly.
In addition to the inspections, we also removed the capped frames from the supers in preparation for honey extraction next Saturday (31st May). That puts us in an excellent position for a productive session next weekend.
There was plenty of banter throughout the morning – and of course, the odd sting to keep us on our toes!
