- Two colonies were transitioned to the club’s recently acquired poly hives, and one colony was placed in a small cell foundation.
- To ensure optimal hive hygiene, we thoroughly cleaned and scorched the floors of all wooden hives. We also endeavoured to clean as many frames as possible during this process. Following best practices, all brood boxes will be systematically swapped with clean ones. The used boxes will then be meticulously cleaned and scorched.
- To accommodate the expansion of some colonies, supers were added as needed.
